Liam came home from school and looked in his backpack for his key. It was not there. He checked every pocket and searched near the front door. The key was gone.

He remembered stopping at the playground to watch friends play soccer. Maybe he dropped it there. Liam walked back and looked around the benches and swings. Soon, he saw something small shining under a bench. It was his key!

A woman nearby smiled and said, "I saw it earlier and hoped you would return."

Liam thanked her and put the key in a zipped pocket. He felt relieved when he opened his door. After that, he always checked for his key first.
